Steep cut-over slopes with thorn-scrub vegetation.

Description
Rosettes to 0.8 m. forming clumps of several plants. Inflorescence terminal. Leaves silvery and densely lepidote to green and glabrescent above. Petals of staminate flowers "cup-like," cream colored; petals of pistillate flowers spreading; yellow green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
