Description
Shrub to 2m. Flowers 5-merous; hypanthium and calyx red, covered with bullabased hairs; corolla pinkish-red, yellow around margins; filaments red, anthers cream, nectar appears to be secreted from an adaxial depression on filament ca 2 mm below anther; style red, stigma cream, very slightly expanded.
