Description
Tree to 18 inched d.b.h., some ripe female cones at top of tree. Burned trees of C. forebesii 15 to 25 feet tall in area, with burned female cones - the cones open and empty of any seeds. Some burned dead trees of C. forbesii remaining as dead trunks from fires; abundant saplings seen here emerging. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
