FLORA OF BOLIVIA MELASTOMATACEAE Brachyotum microdon (Naudin) Triana Department of Cochabamba Province of Mizque, 4 km NE of Paso de Los Libertadores 17 43' 10.9" S, 65 31" 47.5 " Alt: 3689 m Very abundant shrub, just in some areas forming dense populations. Flowers with violet, almost black rolled petals, calyx and bracts bright orange. Photo.
