Description
Tree, 4m x 25 cm diam., bark greyish white, leaves bullate, coriaceous, discolorous, dark green dull above, mid-green with a rusty indumentum below, main veins with a pinkish red tinge; thick fleshy calyces green tinged red with mid-green blotches on the lobes, petals fleshy-waxy, pale pink with white margins, early caducous, filaments blood-red, anthers ochre-brown with a red spur, style white.
