Description
Herb, 15 m tall. Leaves maculate, the midrib, secondary, and tertiary veins lined with purple, the rest of the leaf pale green. Phyllaries green. Ray flowers only, pappus filiform, the bristles white, corolla yellow, anthers reddish-brown, the apex of nearly open flowers appear reddish-brown because the connate anthers ard just starting to appear, style conspicuously bifid. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
