Description
Shrub 2 m. Veins of leaves bright red. Buds deep red; petals pale purplish inside, reddish-purple outside. Anther sacs yellow, appendages black-purple. When fresh, hypanthium and especially calyx region considerably more sharply angled than #527, and somewhat more than #528.
