Description
Shrub to treelet to 4 m tall. Twigs and leaves beneath silvery lepidote. Veins beneath maroon. Calyx green suffused with maroon. Petals dark pink in bud becoming pale violet. Filaments pale violet; anthers yellow; spurs black. Capsules brown.
