Description
Anthers on one side making flowers zygomorphic; tumid, creamy white; appendage dull wine red; filaments, style, stigma, and petals crimson scarlet; pedicals pale green; ovary white; infloresecences appearing like bright flames among the foliage; the tree 50 feet tall; trunk 10 inches in diameter; leaves pale browish-buff on nerves below, dark green above, firmly. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
