Description
Gasterocarps 1-2 cm broad, spherical to ovoid in outline, sometimes lobed, dry, white at first, slowly brownish with handling and exposure, matted to matted subtomentose. Gleba olive green and gelatinous, sometimes with a watery white cartilaginous center (this latter sometimes hollow), otherwise with a watery brownish to watery white sterile basal columella; arising from a tuft of white rhizoids. Cut peridium staining pinkish brown.
