Southern hemisphere beech forest. Nothofagus fuscu, N. menziesii. Gregarious. On soil.

Description
Pileus 3-6 cm broad, plano-convex to plano-convex with a low umbo, dry, dark brown, with erect pyramidal warts, repent at margin. Flesh yellowish white, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Lamellae adnexed, close, dull yellowish when young, yellowish brown with age, marginate-fimbriate and regularly uneven. Stipe 6.5-9 cm long, 6-8 mm broad, strict or bent, equal, pinkish brown at apex, dark brown below, densely wooly at apex, squamulose scaly with pyramidal to repent scales below, with interior yellowish white above, brown and fibrous below.
