Somewhat rolling, probably old dune fields. Soil sandy. Somewhat disturbed remnant of tall chaco forest with Phyllostylon rhamnoides, Pterogyne nitens.

Description
Woody vine into tree; stem 7 cm in diameter, with clusters of spines to 3 cm long. Fruits and the leafy bracts on them are green.
