United States of America. Maine. Washington Co. between Cutler and Lubec, Bog Brook Cove Preserve, Bog at east end of Moose River Road.

Habitat
Bog with Ledum, Chamaedaphne, Larix, Picea, Rhododendron canadense, Gaultheria, Sarracenia, Kalmia angustifolia, Empetrum, Eirophorum, Droserra, Rubus chamaemorus.

Description
Tree 3 m tall, the trunk ca 5 cm diam; growing at edge of bog. There are no Pinus strobus individuals in the center of the bog.
