Edge of parking area with Alnus, Amelanchier and Betula.

Description
Shrub 2–3 m tall; bark grey, somewhat warty; stems and twigs rubbery; bud scales glabrous, lustrous; male catkins well developed; female catkins uniformly > 1 cm long; the drying specimen staining newspaper brown with resin. Compare this species to the sympatric Atha & Greener 14428. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
