km along a dirt road from Yacanco (turn off from Moquegua - Puno
highway at km 26) on way to Ornate; in sandy soil amongst rocks in
dry desert canyon with only sparse low growing vegetation with
Schinus molie, cacti, Zygophyllaceae, Exodeconus sp.
16°55'04" S, 70°53'51" W Alt: 2610m.
Basally branching upright herb to 50 cm high, subwoody at base;
corolla purple-lilac, with yellow-green eye; style pointing down in
flowers; fruits pale green-grey, not ripe yet.
