Peru, Dept. Cusco, Prov. Calca, km 55-56 of Calca-Amparaes road,
ca. 8 km below Acchahuata, ca 2 km above Amparaes; rocky road
banks and matorral along stream.
13°04'06" S, 71 °56'56" W Alt: 3518m.
Lax shrub, stems to ca. 1 cm diameter at the base, climbing in other
vegetation (shrubs); flowers violet, petals spreading, eye yellowish
green; fruit green, calyx lobes appressed, the tips occasionally
reflexed, often dark; flowers quite variable in shade of violet.
