Lax shrub, stems to ca. 1 cm diameter at the base, climbing in other vegetation (shrubs); flowers violet, petals spreading, eye yellowish green; fruit green, calyx lobes appressed, the tips occasionally reflexed, often dark; flowers quite variable in shade of violet.
