Peru, Dept. Cusco, Prov. Calca, ca. 2 km up Lares branch of Calca-
Quellouno road (from junction of the Amparaes branch and the
Lares branch), just above large bridge near road junction on way to
Lares; cloud forest along riverine valley with Alnus, Clusia,
Cecropia, Lauraceae .
12°58'44" S, 72°03'53" W Alt: 2589m.
Woody herb to 3 m tall (often shorter if in exposed areas); leaves
sticky; flowers pale violet, campanulate; fruit green, translucent
when ripe, in and around landslip on rocks.
