    Erect shrub, 10 feet high or higher; stem 4 inches thick; wood moderately hard and heavy, dull sapy white; bark grayish-brown, finely checked; rachis greenish-white; pedicels paler white; flowers creamy white, odorless; leaves chartaceous, much paler beneath (Additional notes attached to sheet).
