    Sclerophyll. Eucalyptus sp. (ironbark, stringybark). Gregarious. On soil.

  • Description

    Pileus 2.5-6 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, subtomentose to matted subtomentose, rarely finely areolate, brown, with even margin. Flesh white to pale yellow, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, pale yellow to olive yellow, staining red, with pores angular, pale yellow, staining red. Stipe 3-4.5 cm long, 4-8 mm broad, equal to slightly tapered near base, dry, brown, finely but conspicuously reticulate and finely and densely subpruinose granulose, white at the base, with interior white to pale yellowish.
