from Ayacucho to Andahuaylas; roadside and field edges; montane
forest, highly disturbed.
13°17'05" S, 74°13'49" W Alt: 3687m.
Massive fleshy herb to 70 cm tall, in moist disturbed soil, to 2 m
diameter, with taproot ca. 3 cm thick; flowers lavender, eye green,
very small, petals slightly reflexed; fruit translucent darkish green
with white stripes; stem winged; sepal tips reflexed in fruit.
