Peru, Dept. Apurimac, Prov. Abancay, on road from Abancay to
Cusco, 30-31 km above (from) Abancay; puna planted with Pinus
sp.
13034'24" S, 72°49'09" W Alt: 4010m.
Bushy shrub to 2 m tall on roadside, many branched from base;
flowers pale lilac, petals spreading, eye yellwish green; calyx dark
purplish green; stems asperous; fruit green turning black (black
fruits have few to no seeds - perhaps pathological and ripe fruit truly
green?).
