Russia. Far Eastern Khabarovsk Krai. Bol'shekhetzhirskii Reserve, Sosnenskii sector. Ca. 48 km SW of Khabarovsk.

Habitat
Exposed bald surrounded by mixed broadleaf-coniferous forest, in mountaintop stand of Picea sp. intermixed with Betula and Pinus above largely broadleaf-coniferous foothill forests. Understory near the bald consisted primarily of ferns, lycopods and small herbaceous plants. On the bald, Kalmia, Lornicera, Vaccinium, Selaginella and diverse mosses were common.
