Brazil. Rondônia. Itapuã do Oeste Mun. Floresta Nacional do Jamari, departing from km 574 of BR-364 (= 28 km W of Itapuã do Oeste), ca. 21 km on P-1 access road of AMATA company.

Habitat

Primary upland forest on level terrain, open canopy, many lianas and understory palms. rare.

Description

Tree. Tree 18 m x 26.7 cm diam, outer bark gray, densely lenticellate, rough, lenticels often occurring in columns, thin, inner bark red, fibrous. Immature fruits obovoid. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
