Cleared site of mostly bare soil. Formerly dense thicket of Psidium cattleianum and planted Araucaria, with small but expanding Dicranopteris patches. Single, erect shrub, stems purple, flowers lavender, fruit immature. Leaves on plant when young were long, some with irregular projecting lobes along margin.
