Peru. Madre de Dios. Manu Prov. Puerto Maldonado. Los Amigos Biological Station, Madre de Dios River, ca. 7.0 km upriver from mouth of Río Los Amigos. New trail parallel to river, leading to the cocha grande second level floodplain.

Habitat
Lowland tropical to subtropical moist forest. Low, young floodplain forest of Rio Los Amigos rising to forest on a ridge that leads to the high terrace forest. Trail undulating through young terraces rarely flooded dominated by Otoba parvifolia, to low soil moist to wet, sandy, alluvial.

Tree, 6 m. Fruit green with red coloration is longitudinal rays.
