Habitat
In cracks and crevices of rock in seeps and in spray of the waterfall. Frequent to common.

Description
Petals pale pink to pale violet throughout most of the length, then at the base a series of bands: white, yellow, reddish-brown, the yello again at the very base; stamens not united, brownish at base and black above. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
