Gallery forest and up small mountain slope. Lower vegetation Macrolobium, Hevea, Eperua grandiflora, Annonaceae, Clusiaceae. Frequent in forest.

Description
Tree to 10-15m. Kerosene-like smell in all plant parts. Infructescence axillary spike. Fruits green, splitting into 2 parts. Seed pendant with fleshy white aril at margin. Silica sample.
