  • Habitat

    Slightly disturbed forest with discontinuous canopy to @ 17m, emergents to 25m. Gently undulating terrain. Some areas dominated by large, climbing bamboo ("taboca").

  • Description

    Tree to 12m, inflorescences drooping. Petals and stamens white tinged with violet. Occasional in tabocal. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
