United States of America. New York. Bronx Co. New York City. New York Botanical Garden. Rocky outcrop northest of the Nolen Greenhouses. Directly east of the Bronx River Parkway.

Habitat
On a very thinly wooded rocky slope, with Liquidambar styraciflua, Prunus serotina, Malus, Eurybia divaricata, grasses and Quercus rubra.

Description
Leaves without petiole, glabrous. Stems densly and softly pubescent. Just out of flower. Plants with slight anise odor. A few clumps in the immediate area. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
