Around and on Fordham gneiss bedrock outcrop in old Rosaceae collection area.

Description
Shrub, the stems on this one to 4cm in diameter, but others to 15cm in diameter here. Common on and around bedrock outcrop and most of the plants seem to be self-soen, the younger ones certainly so. Stems with spreading short shoots which are very rigid and thorn-like. Fruit yellow, some turning more red-orange. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
