Description
Squat plant to 12 inches tall, the branches spreading, sap colorless; paired thorns on stem; leaves softly pubescent; flowers yellow, aromatic. Vernacular nmae: Kisukuma: sese gwa hasi. Uses: Sukuma tribe: roots boiled with water and white mtama flour, drunk 3 times daily for pains in stomach. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
