Habitat
In native forest of Liriodendron tulipfera, Fagus grandifolia below the Magnolia collection at the bottom of slope along Bronx River.

Description
Tree 12m tall, 20cm in diameter; bark smooth, with large, prominent horizontal lenticels. Petals with some pink on the outside in bud; open flowers almost completely white. Probably an escaped individual. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
