High swamp forest.

Description
Tree, 30' X 3 ", with scaling guava like bark. Leaves thin, pale green ovate, to 6 ", longtipped, the main lateral veins uniting to form a sub-marginal vein, opposite, or in pairs on short green lateral shoots. Flowers 4k + 4c, cream, purple veined, 1/2 accross when open, on 0.25" pedicels, easily dropping off after opening. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
