Bolivia. Santa Cruz. Cordillera Prov. 6 km NW of turnoff from highway at Río Seco on dirt road toward La Florida.

Habitat
Chaco forest on slightly rolling area, sandy soil. With Astronium, Anadenanthera macrocarpa, Phyllostylon rhamnoides, Bromelia serra, Capparis speciosa, C. retus, Ximenia americana, Acanthosyris falcata, Achatocarpus praecox.

Description
Treelet 8 m. tall, 9 cm. in diameter. Vigorous branches with much larger leaves than on the fertile branches. Inflorescence in bud only, held mostly more or less horizonal, not nodding. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
