Description
A heavily armed climber, stems as thick as three fingers, ascending to the tops of the forest trees. One specimen with ripe fruit low down; other fruits picked up. Fruit with one seed. The pericarp is intrudeddeeply into the hard horny endosperm, making a regular pattern all round. Fruits brownish yellow, with short beak, pedicelled.
