Cultivated. 5507 Charles Street, Bethesda, [Maryland]. Native. Introduced 1960. Flowering noticed 1 April 1962 with anthers fully matured. Seeds set 30 May 1962. Harvested 1 June 1962. BBG nuber assigned = 2762-B1. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
