Location
United States of America. California. Butte Co. Northeast of Little Bald Rock, about 300 yards east of Bean Creek Road, about 16 miles (air) northeast of Oroville.

Habitat
With Vaccinium. Moist area, on damp granite soil covered with yellow pine needles, along a small wash, on the northwest edge of a large bare granite opening (about an acre in size). Yellow pine forest. Common, about 30 large clumps.

About 1/5 of a clump. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
