Attached to stones and day in a small waterfall, San Leandro, California, Nov. 3, 1902. N. L. GARDNER. A slender, sparingly branched form, possibly agreeing with some of the numerous forms and varieties described under this species, but in the absence of type specimens, this cannot be de- termined.
