The frond is flattened throughout, even when quite fresh.
The habit resembles an uncalcified Galaxaura obtusata, but the
structure agrees with typical S. furcellata. Possibly the same as
the plant ^described as Isymenia angusta, J. G. Agardh, Analecta
Algologiela, Cont. V, p. 66, 1899.
