With cystocarps. The frond is flattened throughout, even when quite fresh. The habit resembles an uncalcified Galaxaura obtusata, but the structure agrees with typical S. furcellata. Possibly the same as the plant ^described as Isymenia angusta, J. G. Agardh, Analecta Algologiela, Cont. V, p. 66, 1899. 02348647
