Culms erect, to 2 m, high. Common in mud above the
level of the standing water.
Añasco, Río Cañas, Cíenoga Isabel along NW-SE dirt
road on N side of marsh opposite Quebrada Chiquita.
18°15'27.4"N, 67°07'48.8"W, elev 7-10 m. Clay soil.
