Description
Solitary stem cylindrical, about 20 m tall and 22 cm in diameter, greyish; coma with 14 leaves; petiole including sheath 11 dm; rachis 24 dm, with 149 pairs of pinnae, aggregated and inserted at various angles. Few inflorescences per plant, all about in the same stage; basal bract 5 dm long, second bract 10 dm long; peduncle 2,5 dm long, with 2 other, somewhat enlarged bracts; rachis 5 dm long, with 138 rachillas; rachis and rachillas bluish-grey; mature fruit orange, endosperm homogeneous, almost without central cavity when fresh. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
