En bosque alto, terreno húmedo pedregoso.
Alt. 800-900 m. Arbol, de 18-19 m. Flores
verde amarillenta. Frutos inmature de color
verde amarillenta. Las hojas en la cara
superior son brillosas de color verde olivo,
en el envés pardo castaño. Diámetro del
tronco 14". N.V.: Palta moena.
