Habitat
Dense forest on steep slope. Locally frequent, few fertile.

Description
Tree. Tree 20 m x 31 cm, branched plank buttresses 1.2 high, bole cylindrical, outer bark brown, moderately lenticellate, some hoop marks, shallowly vertically cracked, between buttresses shed in thin irregular plates to 10 cm long, inner bark beige, brittle.
