  • Description

    Pileus 3-4.5 cm broad, convex with a broad, flattened umbo, viscid when moist, with scant scattered fibrils, amber yellow (4B6,5)with scattered pale brown mottling. Flesh watery lemon yellow, with mild odor and taste. Lamellae adnexed, dull yellow at first, becoming tinted with dull yellowish brown, with even edges. Stipe 3.5-7 cm long, 1-1.5 cm broad, equal with a taper at base, dry, whitish, silky fibrillose striate with scattered dull cinnamon cortinate remains, with interior watery lemon yellow, unchanging. With white cortina.
