Habitat
Antarctic beech forest. Nothofagus fusca, N. truncata, N menziesii. Scattered to gregarious. On soil.

Description
Pileus 4-6 cm broad, plano-convex to plane, dry, finely areolate, pale cocoa brown (6E7), pinkish lilac with NH4 surrounding a pale orange spot. Flesh pale yellow to yellowish white, not cyanescent. Lamellae yellow, decurrent, close rarely forked &/or anastomosed, wrinkled near pileus margin, with even edges, slowly cyanescent. Stipe 3-4 cm long, 6-7 mm broad, curved, slightly tapering downward, dry, finely scabrous near apex, appressed fibrillose below, white above, tan below, with yellow basal mycelium, with interior pale brownish to yellowish white, unchanging.
