Description
This plant grows 5-12 ft. high in one wand with no more signs of prickles than you find on the specimen; often many feet of the stem would present not even rudiment of a prickle. [Annotation added by N. L. Britton:] On the Focke basis this would be a species. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
