  • Habitat

    Woodland chaparral. In washes and on low slopes. Asst. with Quercus turbinella, Juniperus monosperma, Pinus monophylla, Fallugia, Canotia, Ceanothus, Guttierezia, Baccharis pter., Yucca baccata, Rhus aromatica, Stenotopsis, Opuntia chlorotica, Agave McKelviana, Forestera, Acourtia. Sophora scarce at this site but population continues for 2 miles to south and the sp is very abundant in places.
