On dry sagebrush flats. Infrequent. Grey-black soil on basalt.

Description
Corollas blue to blue-violet, tube red-violet towards base, throat paler on abaxial side; anthers blue-black; nectar with a sweet fragrance; mostly past flowering here. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
