United States of America. Oregon. Baker Co. 8 miles west of Hereford, sagebrush covered slopes along Burnt River, just 100 ft. lower than the border of the Juniper (scopulorum)-Yellow Pine woods.

Habitat
Dry slope. Common in this colony. Light soil with scattered rocks.

Description
Great variation in flower color from purple to blue. Most are purplish like Roezlii. Anthers black like Leonardii. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
