Brushy cloud forest near tree line.

Description
Shrub 3 m. tall, 7 cm. in diameter. Inflorescence erect, showy. Flowers with thick sweet fragrance; corolla white; anthers yellow when flower is opening and corolla reflexed, later the anthers black and the corolla spreading; individual flowers apparently stay open for several days to increase the display but are probably fertile only at the beginning. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
